As I drove to work the other day, I passed by a senior living community in Star Valley. To my horror, I saw 32 trees that were just cut at the point where they went over the wall and subsequently, onto the state highway 260. Obviously an ADOT regulation. But these cuts were not taken back to the stock of the tree from which they emerged, they were simply cut mid-branch. This creates a wound that is next to impossible for the tree to heal. Many of these beautiful trees will die because there are no branches left to produce foliage. Don't make this terrible mistake; be sure to have a certified arborist care for your trees!!
